Welcome to this little corner of Sadocles.nl dedicated to my workplace, a greenhouse
located near Rotterdam, the Netherlands. The purpose of this photolog is to show where
our food is grown (in this case, tomatoes) and the work that is required in the process.
The above Google Earth image shows the current situation. The greenhouse covers three
hectares (a hectare is about the size of soccerfield) of land. This will be the greenhouse's
last season; next year, it will be demolished and the land sold. Since Dutch agriculture is
cutting-edge, it is also competetive; innovations must constantly be made.
